Orange x Dancing Queen – 2012 cross

The seed parent was a fairly non-descript orange with a
central pale area that someone gave me.

I pollinated it with pollen from dancing queen in 2012, and
the first blooms show quite a variety of single and double forms, some with the
dancing queen ancestry clearly evident, others with more generic hybrid features. Once again I'm amazed at how the same parents can produce such a variety of forms.

My Exotic Star x Cyberspace seedlings are sprouting like mad! I am going to plant many of them outside in a new flower bed, so hopefully I'll have as much fun as you have with your crosses!

Oh...can it really be that far away! How about 2018 to be ambitious! 2019 I head out on my "around the world trip", so not sure I'll be posting photos then!
