B&D 20v Blower with bad bearing

8 months ago I purchased a B&D String Trimmer and Blower that share a 20v rechargeable battery. The battery holds a good charge, the tools are lightweight and easy to use. The downside is that with first use this season, the blower appears to have a bad bearing. Instead of a blower you could easily talk over, it now screams and gets warm with use. Sound familiar? Is this something I can fix myself? There is a 2 year 'limited' warranty. . .we know what that means.

If you yell loud and long enough, "IT" means they give you a new one. Might have to wait a while. "Squeaky wheel...."

Just wanted to update how this turned out. Called B&D and was told they would either replace the blower or fix it ~ no charge ~ and gave me the name/address of the local shop. Took it in and no questions asked, they offered to mail a new one which arrived a few days later. Not only did the box contain the new blower, but also another battery and charger. Wasn't expecting that ! Way to go, Black & Decker !
