Thank you, I just can't figure out why he didn't notice this & do more. I hate to complain, it has already been painted. I don't know if I should let it go or not. Am I too silly about this? I'll ask him about it when he comes back. When I go to lowes I'll ask them in the paint dept. what they suggest & buy something. He might not want to paint the rest of my house, or I will have to find someone else. :) pam

this is the sort of thing that the more you play with it the worse it will look. if it was my house, i'd leave it be.

A good professional would be able to sand it and redo that area.

I think I should have bought a sample & tried it on my wall before I had him paint. It was Sherwin Williams in Divine White. Has sort of a yellow look to it. I wanted more of an Antique White . OOP'S!! I've been living in a all White wall house for 16 years, maybe I'll get use to it. LOL I need some back splash especially behind the stove, but may buy a new one, not sure what color yet. White fridge, white dishwasher, sink......
