Backsplash suggestion for blue fire granite

I am looking for suggestions for the backslash for my blue fire granite. I have natural maple cabinets and stainless steel appliances and medium toned hickory floors. The only thing I can come up with is glass subway tile, but don't know which colour in the granite to use.

Gorgeous. Suggest you go very simple dubway in lightest color in granite. That way the countertop remains the star.

I agree... take lightest color out of granite and match it to a simple subway tile. Is there gray in the granite? Perhaps a dark gray grout?

I would probably do a lighter cream colored subway tile and find a grout to match the tile. that will help the backsplash look less busy and allow the granite to really shine!
