It was nice here too. I got a lot done, but so much remains to be done. Isn't that true of every day at this time of the year, though? This morning we have sunshine again and I already spent a little while thinning plums. I could spend the whole day just thinning fruit, but that gets so tedious that I won't. Instead, I plan to mostly work in the garden itself, taking periodic breaks to go and thin fruit for a while. On both the plums and peaches it looks like every single flower was fertilized and set fruit, so there's a lot of thinning to do.

Shhhh, you'll scare it off. Too wet to do anything anyway here. My bees are sure liking it though.

Sunshine all day so far! Tomorrow? Probably not so much. Rain the rest of the week? I'll enjoy today, I guess. I hope you got a lot done!

I got a lot done. Hope everyone else did too. We had mixed clouds and sun, but it was nice. It kept us from getting too hot. It was just about a perfect day.

So far the rain has gone either west or east of us, and I don't care. We are still extremely muddy from the rain earlier this week so it wouldn't break my heart if our house ends up in a dry slot and all the rain misses us every time. I doubt that's gonna happen. I have plants to pot up tomorrow if I'm stuck inside.

I got a lot of shopping done between rain and hail! Found some mint and citronella and cat grass and dianthus. I love that little flower. Successful day.
