HI,

Last year I moved around the rocks in my pond which made me loose a section of my yellow loose strife (A good thing though) So now behind the pond and along the right edge a bit there's nothing but dirt.

It's in shade practically all day and sometimes gets dappled light through my neighbours columnar aspens. My plan was to add a wall of Ostrich ferns along the side then have some hostas along the top. Which I still might do but I want something that will grow taller to hide some of the fence and something small and trailing that will cover the edges of the rock. Now this being in the Shade and me being in zone 3 I know there's not a lot of options.

I'm open to all suggestions except Day lillies, Already have to many of those!

Oh and the dirt is all nnew top soil with a mixture of Potting soil and peat moss. The side part stays a bit more moist then the top does
