Thanks! That one's a gypsy pepper, it's the first time I've planted one. We'll see if it can hold up when the heat hits I have a Thai pepper that's going crazy, it struggled all last summer, and made it through the winter, and is rewarding me for not pulling it up now. Little, dense plant, tiny peppers, but very hot! I also have a cayenne for the first time, and 2 anchos. Couple of nice peppers on the cayenne already, can't wait for the anchos! I tried a ghost pepper last year, but it fried as soon as the heat hit. I thought that was rather ironic. I've never heard of the shiahito, are they a hot pepper?

It's actually shishito. Spelled it wrong before. It's a great pepper for flash frying with some salt. Pepper is mild and tastes great. I got mine at lowes this yr but sometimes the peppers are sold in the Asian supermarket and you can plant the seeds. I've grown them maybe every other year. I'm getting wiser and learning to cover them over winter as they can survive years. These are worth growing because you can eat them all easily. I got hundreds of peppers one year.

I asked an entomologist at Arbico about those specifically because I had them on peppers and other plants last season. She said they are leafhopper eggs.
