Hello! How is the desk top attached to the files? Also, how thick is the marble or granite used? Looks beautiful. Thanks!

    There is a 1/4" thick piece of steel imbedded into the underside of the slab which spans the space from the file to the round leg. The steel is screwed to the top of the leg and file and silicone holds the slab in place. The slab is 1 1/2" think.
