it's almost like starting with a soil less mix. You're going to need fertilizer. The question is whether or not you want to amend the soil or continue to add fertilizer. Soil amendment starts with compost. What kind of soil are you working from: clay or sand? Fixing that will alter your test results. You might need gypsum or sulfur to lower the pH but you should try a balanced fertilizer first. And worm castings help balance pH. Line will cover some of your shortages but since that raises pH you'll need to add something to lower pH with it. if your yard soil needs a couple of years of compost that badly you may want to consider a raised bed or container gardening for the first year.

Depleted and deficient are relative terms and provide no clues how deficient or depleted they are. Where on this glorious planet are you located?

1st I would recommend a complete & professional soil test done by your state Agriculture Dept or college. In CT they are free and the printed results will tell you what to add and how much depending on what it is you plan to grow.

2nd Follow their recommendation.

I agree with Gumby. Home soil analysis kits are notoriously inaccurate. Furthermore, what about Calcium, Sulfur, Magnesium, Iron, Boron? Get the complete test at least once.
