As far as small watergardens go (300 gallon), can I have plants in a store-bought spillway? I think if I made a skippy filter, I could have plants.......but then could it go from there into a spillway? I know the tubing out of it could just discharge into the pond, rather than having a waterfall. Sorry for my ignorance. I've been watergardening for quite a while, but it's been all very simple, straightforward stuff. I'm realizing that my small in-water filter isn't doing a great job and I don't want to have to pull it out and clean it every week. I'll probably have more questions, but these are a good start.
