As you can tell our double doors are two different colors. the original front doors in our new construction were not aligning properly and we were only able to get the company to replace one door instead of both. It's a long story which involves the company filing bankruptcy. So they are both stained with the same color and the door on the left is the older door. The painter says they will eventually even out in color but it is driving me crazy. the right door has not seen a full summer of sun yet. It has been up about 6 months. So should I hold out to see if they will even out or should I paint the doors? If paint, what do I need to do to paint over stained doors? These doors also get a lot of direct sunlight. Thanks!
