No. Never fertilize a newly planted plant. Let it get established first.

Where are you located, what's the weather been like, how was it planted and how have you watered?

The first leaf looks more like it's sunburned or scorched. This can also be due to poor water quality. The second looks like it received some mechanical damage as it was leafing out. Neither looks like anything I'd be overly concerned with.

Thanks for the advice on the fertiliser, I'll hold off! Should I remove damaged leaves or even cut it down a bit? Apparently that could help the plant grow a bit faster too? Just not sure whether to leave it alone for a while or help it somehow.

I generally do not cut back any evergreen types when first planted, but you can......it certainly won't hurt it any and may encourage the vine to push out some additional shoots from the root crown. I wouldn't worry about damaged leaves either - remove or leave in place as you wish (I might get rid of the brown one just for looks). And other than watering, I'd just leave it alone.

I'm pretty sure they will recover. Possibly they have been in a more protected environment than your garden. And as you say we have had a sunny week but with sharp winds. Make sure you water well, even if it rains. Supposed to get some rain at the weekend. Personally I'd leave them completely alone as regards pruning for a few months until it is clear if any parts have died.

These things get very large so if you have two you may lose the house in a few years.
