Since you like the gauzy fabric on your balcony door, why not repeat it on your other windows? Mount the fabric high (matching the height of the existing drapes) and it should be very wide and full, so you can pull it across the whole window or draw it back all the way to the left of the window. Make sure the curtain support is long enough that you can pull the curtain off the windows.

Thanks Cynthia. Do you think the height of the window from the floor matters ? That is, since the window is quite high, would long drapes be correct decorating -wise? Would I need to go for romans?

Not at all. Your window will look lovely and elegant and will relate beautifully to the window/door to the balcony.

If you prefer romans, you could do that, but it's not necessary.
