Single or double kitchen sink?

Can't decide which style to choose for my kitchen island. I now have a double sink with one side larger than the other and don't think it's convenient when washing large pots and dishes.

I like the ability to wash a cookie tray or cutting board and let it drain in the second smaller basin if I am washing a few things by hand before I get a chance to dry it. I use it when I water certain plants that like to be sprayed and need to drip dry a bit but I don't want the main sink to be shut down. Little things like that make me appreciate the second bowl!

Same dilemma. We are going with a large single bowl.

We chose single bowl Elkay SS 8" deep with perfect drain. Got at Home Depot.

I have a Rohl over mount like pic 1 and never met a pot I couldn't wash! But if I did it again I'd consider the send type of sink.

I think one large bowl works well since most of us have dishwashers. I actually wash all my pots in the DW they always look like brand new.

The model we are looking at is an Allora AK-118. But I love the Artisan 16 gauge..it's only somewhere around $750.
