a grape is a grape ... and it looks like a grape ... but confirm that with the botanists ....

the difference between wild.. and a named cultivar.. is usually size of the grape itself ... wild ones MAYBE not being more that a common pencil erasure ... compared to the ones you see at the grocer ...

grape is an incredibly aggressive vine ... able to cover 60 foot trees.. not to mention the potential seedlings ...

i would suggest.. if you want to give over the space to grape ... you buy and learn how to maintain a GOOD ONE ... just as a space issue ...

You'll know more when the grapes ripen, but it looks like a grape to me! There are hundreds of varieties! We have a vineyard, and only grow wine grapes. Wild grapes make some pretty good wine! There is a wild grape here in Southern California named Rogers Red. It's terribly invasive, but beautiful in fall. I hear it makes good wine, but often climbs to the tops of the trees, and that's where the fruit is, so hard to harvest. Go to you tube and search for pruning grape vines. Lots of good advice there. Mostly at a residence people plant table grapes. I bet that's what yours is. Enjoy!
