What pool decking coordinates with an adjacent bluestone patio?

We are building a patio using wet laid random bluestone. The new pool will be 3 steps (bluestone and stone) down from the patio. We are having trouble deciding on pool deck. Using flagstone will be too pricey for the area but we are unsure of what would look nice but also coordinate. It doesn't have to be the least expensive material. Any advice?

What material did you end up using? We are building a pool and having this same issue.

We used travertine. Color called chocolat’.

We are thrilled with it for around the pool. Never gets hot and very soft on the feet. I haven’t had any issues with it being slippery which was a concern of mine.
