My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

window interior color: Black or White ?

This wall of windows faces south. These mockups have the actual outside view dropped in. As you can see the design look-n-feel is contemporary, industrial, loft-like with a nod towards modern. Walls & ceiling are white. Floor and beams are dark wood. The 3000 sqft house is panelized prefab new construction. Window exterior color will be black or dark bronze.

Followup question: What type of windows?

  • Aluminum (thermally broken)

  • Vinyl

  • Anderson 100 Series (Fibrex® composite material)

  • or something else


We are in a hot part of Northern California with 3 months of temps cresting 100ºF. btw, we will be passing Title 24 via the “whole house performance method.”
