Planting bulbs long after I should have

Please don't judge but I just now got around to planting some tulip bulbs I ordered on brecks website like 18 months ago. They have been stored in my refrigerator this whole time. Is there any hope they will actually bloom? Ever...? Thanks in advance.

Well, chances are...they're as alive as 18 month old onions would be.

Not very soft but not rock hard either.

What else would you do with them? My left over tulips planted in March, after being in the refrig since August did just fine. Al

Don't be surprised if you get a nice display... the bulbs aren't so dainty and I've always had good luck with Breck's. Like Christmas gifts if they bloom...

if they dont do anything this year i'm sure theyll just energize for next year. hope you marked where you put them just in case they decide to skip this year!
