Christmas cactus outdoors in the summer. Folks, last year I had a Christmas cactus in a plastic pot outdoors. It was huge and lush but was still In it's original plastic store pot. I Went out of town and a friend watering the yard watered it every day with my other plants. Ugh. I forgot to tell her to ignore it. To put it simply, it rotted out and died. I saved some cuttings which I've rooted. I want to pot and put outside. Would you use a small clay pot with porous soil or plastic pot with porous soil?
