After Houzz

Some of the most active members of hot pepper forum migrated
to other hot pepper forums, why? Who cares? I have read their posts there, but
I am not ready to open an account there because I do not see any good reason
and I have other two forums too, one is local and other international.

Still I enjoy here :)

Ditto in like I enjoy this place, and the format is better and easier to post photos...

Are/Is there any advantage(s) and disadvantage(s) after Gardenweb has
joined Houzz? Not exactly a question but curiosity. For me I like a forum more
resourceful, easy to search topics, easy to post pictures from my PC or any
websites, reliable moderators and members with sense of responsibility.

I'm fine with GardenWeb. Been a member for over 10 years and this isn't it's first change. The Internet is constantly changing including most websites; not always to what we like or are familiar with, however to keep pace there's always change.

Shoot our Intranet at work is constantly changing to keep pace with the world and most of the time not user friendly; butI wouldn't leave my job due to it.

Here's to a GREAT Pepper year to Everyone!

I am only a member of two garden forums. This one is easier to post pics on. The other is better about telling me what sub page has new postings on it.

Both are free sites, and neither has ever asked me for payment. I Can say that for GW since the Houzz transition it is far more mobile friendly. The old format was awful on my phone. For every time I closed a pop up for zip lock bags, two more pop ups came up for laundry soap, and trash bags.

I do most of my posting here, and I read, and post on both. I am here more for the people than the format. Also there is less of the you are so wrong I am going to prove it, and make you eat a big turd burger, and thank me for it. I do not see that on the other site I go onto as well, and that is why I am still a member of both. I stay away from the ones that the trolls hang around.

Unfortunately I'm not liking this new format. They've split the pepper forum into different forums : exchange, hot pepper, gardening...i don't know if I'll stick around or not. We'll see if I get used to this

    I too, like this forum.
I have visited other sites/pepper forums many times, without becoming a member. I have found no good reason to divide my time and efferts between various forums.
This forum serves my needs very well. And the changes made after Houzz actually has been an improvement over old GW format.

Have a HOT growing Season !
