Hi guys, new to dyckia and am having trouble with a recent acquisition. I bought a small dyckia marnier-lapostollei off eBay and potted it up in half soil, half perlite. The plant came bareroot, is maybe 5 inches in diameter, and I put it in an 8 inch terra cotta pot on an east-facing windowsill. Well, it's been about two weeks and it looks awful! The sides of the leaves are slowly closing up like clam shells and their tips are browning. When I gently wiggle the plant, it seems "looser" in the soil than when I first planted it but does not pull out. Is this normal and I just need to be patient, or am I doing something wrong? I watered it a little after I potted it, and thoroughly once a week since then (once the soil seems dry two inches down). Would greatly appreciate any advice!
