I purchased a Maytag 30" double oven. The only negative on reviews was the noise.

It IS noisy, much more so than my Frigidaire gallery range BUT, I didn't really care.

For me, noise while operating wasn't a deal breaker.

I wanted a reliable double, and, as long as it didn't sound like a jet engine, I wasn't concerned with noise.

In fact, I've become so accustomed to the noises from my wall ovens that on the rare occasion where I use the oven on my range; its so quiet I forget it's on.

I have Kenmore Elite double ovens. They aren't noisy at all. I have been very happy with them.

We just installed Miele Masterchef double ovens. I love how they bake and Miele is supposed to be reliable. These were the things I was looking for in our ovens. The fans aren't loud...but they aren't quiet either! I've come from having a stand alone range and no fans running ever to constantly listening to the wall oven fans. It has been a big adjustment for me. We use our ovens daily, sometimes multiple times a day, and they take what seems like forever to cool down. I'm always so relieved when they finally shut off. I often open the doors to help them cool more quickly, but then the lights are on. : / So, now our meals are accompanied by a fan blowing in the background. But, the food is delicious! If you have a radio/tv on all the time household,, you might not notice the fans. We don't usually have noisemakers going (7 kids is plenty of noise, LOL) so I do notice the fans.

For double ovens that are on the less pricey end, I have been EXTREMELY happy with GE Cafe series ovens. They make the most fluffy baked potatoes I have ever had and even someone like me who can't bake at all, gets wonderful results. I have nothing but great things to say. And they have been in my kitchen since 2011 without issue.

I have kitchen aid, and they are LOUD, but gorgeous. They cook evenly and no problems so far. They self clean like a dream.
