Offhand, I would suggest a great wall mirror. That will instantly brighten your foyer because mirrors always bounce light around the room, and also make it feel larger.

What was the other discussion? Have you chosen something for a bathroom before choosing a color for your main room? Seems a little backward to me.

I think a sputnik chandelier would reflect light off the mirrored doors

This is the sliding mirror closet in front of the door.
I started with the bathrooms because I thought it would be easier to choose colours. I will definitely need to choose colours for the foyer and the main room together. Thank you for the advice as I was very lost.
My main room has indian rose wood furniture. Dining table and chairs, benches. I like wood for almost anything. I also have a trunk and a bookcase from southeast Asia (will post picture).
