Do I cut off the lower leaves of my orchid ? They are wrinkled up and drying out?

Can you post a photo, please? Also let us know where you are growing, what it is growing in, how long you've had it etc?

Do you know what kind of orchid it is? Some shed leaves all the time and others do not.

I have had the orchid about 21/2 years and it does bloom each year but I don't know the name. , I will send a picture of it in bloom and the leaves now. I am growing it in an orchid mixture I bought that is like bark chopped up..

Might be time for fresh mix, and perhaps water it a little more often. Maybe a bit more light, if you can. The leaves are still green and hanging on, don't cut them. You would be surprised how long older leaves will stick around, even when they look rough. If it's blooming, you're doing something right.
