If the tv unit is the center of attention, then seating needs to face it. Move the recliner ensemble (whose back is to us in the picture) to face the tv. Move the independent chair to the right of the window to the left of the tv. Agree that an area rug would help tie it together.

I agree with comments above. Also, I'm not loving how the backs of the two chairs line up with the window panels. If you want to keep those graphic window panels then you need to connect them to the room by having similar graphic/color in a pillow or rug. You have no other blue in the room other than the piece under the TV so you need to introduce blue. And Yellow. I think you are unhappy because while all your elements are good, they are not tied together in a cohesive way.

plus the TV looks lonely on that wall so I would put colorful images, randomly all around it - use your punch colors and patterns here.

Could the wall behind the tv be painted a happier color? Perhaps a shade from a new area rug? Plants would be nice (especially on the table under the window.)

Buy a blue table lamp to relate to the console and add another spot of blue, bright pillows in a print possible and or art on wall between window and door.

Try wihte end table or white cocktail table to relate to the bold white stripes.

Loose the curtains as they don't do anything for the space. You should anchor the room with an area rug that pulls in all the colors in the room - like the furniture, the gold blanket and the wall color. The curtains are eclectic, but don't do the space justice. The room seems a bit dark, so maximize the light coming through the windows.
