You grow roses, cause there's nothing else like them - right?? You do a great (FANTASTIC, STUPENDOUS, INCREDIBLE) job of them too!!

Those are lovely Beth. Painted Moon is gorgeous and Fantasia Mondiale. Love all the dark ones too. I used to not like the darker roses that much, but my tastes are changing.

Beautiful pictures. Tell me about your Shropshire lad- Does it get really large where you live and are the flowers more peach or more pink? I just got that one about a month ago and it is turning into a huge little monster lol.

Irisgal, AMBRIDGE ROSE is probably around 4ft. I don't do any hard pruning. (I probably should tho.)

SJN, my A SHROPSHIRE LAD really hasn't done a whole lot the last few yrs. So far, it's only about 3ft tall, and pretty gangly. This is probably the first bloom I've had in a long time. This one started out this kinda yellowy-apricot color, then turned into this:
