I think that's chick weed isn't it? Darn it, I am so bad with plant names. They do spread very easily though, I know that. Get them before they flower so the seeds don't spread. Or at least get them before they seed. I've always been able to yank them right out. Also if it's chickweed it's edible.

It's Mouse-Ear Chick Weed, Cerastium glomeratum. Rather past the eating stage.

BTW Common chickweed isn't as furry as Mouse-Ear and is thus a bit more palatable but they're both edible - when fresh and green.

Weed b gone has a special formula for chickweed. I believe it only comes in a concentrate. I have only used it for ground ivy, which is very difficult to control.
