The way we perceive color depends on a number of different factors - type, quantity and direction of light, what other colors are present, how much of the color you are using, etc. I think your best bet will be to buy a few samples that seem like good candidates, use them to paint some large pieces of wood, and put them in the room with the other items under the typical lighting. That will tell you pretty much how it will look. You can get started by taking pieces of your bedspread and window panels with you to the paint store, if possible. Good luck with it!
