Hey everyone, I'm only 22 and I've never had plants. I had a friend give me a jade as a gift and I absolutely adore it- its one of the only possessions I actually own.

Recently my plant has a few leaves that are very hard and brown, while some of the very thick and healthy looking green leaves are falling off! I am so sad because I don't know why.

I keep reading a bunch of articles online on what I should be doing to save it, but they all say different pieces of advice. I'm desperate to find someone on here who can explain how to properly repot my plant and explain some of the gardening terms to me...I'm very lost and I don't want my plant to die. Will post picture if someone wants to see.
