GC is telling me I need to make a decision on our interior door hinge finish today. (Could he not see that coming last week? What if I hadn't checked my email until the evening? Sheesh.)

Anyway, we are going to have mixed metal finishes in the house- stainless, chrome, brushed brass, unlacquered brass, some flat black here and there. So, I'm thinking that either a stainless steel or flat black hinge is probably the most universal, just in case we or a future owner ever decide to switch up the metal finishes. But brushed brass may work with more paint colors? Ack! I don't know. Most of the doors will be painted black, but of course that could change down the line, too.
