I had cultured marble in three baths and a laundry room in my home that was built in 1997. I am replacing it as I reno room by room, but it has been a very hard-working and low maintenance surface for me. I do feel that it harkens back to the 90's in terms of style.

does it need replaced or are you just updating each room slowly and thats just part of the reno?

No need, just preference. I had a ton of it in my home, and after 18 years really only two problems ... one small chip and a bit of yellowing. I was kind of sad to see it go in the master shower because the solid surface needed virtually no attention. I still have it in the second bath and laundry and plan to leave it there for a while.

I have something like the cultured marble, but it has a different design..anyhow,,it was the cheaper version from the options provided by the builder. While it's not a problem maintaining it, I don't like it..it looks plastic like,,definitely not like natural stone. We will replace it with something else,,granite, quartz or some recycled glass

you should call your fabricator or visit a stone yard for remnants the size you are looking for. if you have an open mind you dont have to have such an open wallet.
