New gardener here. I was looking for a white clematis and found Isago at the local nursery. I bought it, but it's just barely poking up out of the ground, no leaves. I can see a few spindly roots. By chance, I noticed some other varieties of clematis at a big box store, and those were well on their way with leaves, flowers, a trellis, etc. Now I feel that perhaps in my ignorance I bought a sickly Isago. It is still in its container. How do I help it grow? I am in zone 4.
