Compare to 'Pink Impression', a very popular Darwin hybrid that looks very much like what you have. And is one of the few strains of hybrid tulips that have a good reputation for returning year after year.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think this is Pink Impressions. The flower heads are a smaller and it has some orange along the edge of the petals. But if Pink Impressions is a good at returning year I'll probably go pick some up. I've been running into tulips such as Queen of Night and sadly they only come back for about 3 years.Thank you for the suggestion.

These suggestions are both Darwin tulips that are more likely to be perennial: Apricot Impression or Marit

I keep retuning to see if these have been id-ed yet. I wonder if their flowers are smaller due to naturalization? Remembered I had a pic of the center of 'Pink Impression' which rules that one out. The second pic is a piece cropped out of a large pic of Hybrid Prides, mixed colors, Darwin. Its center is closer to your tulip --- too blurry even with sharpening.

Why not send your pictures to a tulip grower and see if they can ID them?

In your second lot of photos, Audrey, I think they look like some sort of Darwin tulip due to their shape when fully opened. They are more red than pink, and if they had had black centres I would have suggested that they are Apeldoorn.

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions. I've sent the photos to 2 different tulip growers and have not heard anything back form either yet. I think my plan right now is to probably just buy all the tulips that people are suggesting and try them out. It's not like you can ever have too many and all the ones mentioned are very eye catching. I'll post on here if i get a reply form any of the growers.

To your comment irisgal I would say that they have shrunk in size over the years. I've been looking around on a site called the Tulip Gallery, I wrote down a list of possibilities that I have to find, but the only issue is that they only offer one picture, which usually does not include the inside of the tulip.
