I would not recommend shutters for most of your windows are double and the result would make them look wider. For colors I would paint the stone to match the siding - there is too much confusion. Brick has several colors in it and so does stone. I don't know why builders do this when it creates havoc for homeowners and designers. Try Ben Moore Manchester tan.

It can be a challenge to address modern design with traditional elements. Your window surrounds lack weight, as is typical, hence the pull toward shutters. If you do not use shutters, I recommend adding sills and lintels to provide suitable weight to the design.

If you go for shutters, please note that they must function as shutters (or will look fake). You need never close them, but the proportions will not work unless that could be closed and are properly hinged. Double windows common to modern-traditional designs do not work well (as Old House Guy notes) unless they fold--which adds bulk and expense.

As for door color - here you can have a different color such as blue or a color to contrast the brick. If you were to have shutters, black would be best and a black door.
