My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The stain is made by Bona stain and it is water based. HIgh Traffic satin sheen.

      It looks really good! The Bona line of products is high quality. Satin finish helps to hide both marks and dust compared to gloss finish. Mary Anne look at both the Bona website and the Minwax stain site. They both have a lot of options. Your installer will likely end up blending stains together to give you exactly what you want.       Thank you! We are having white oak quartersawn and rift hardwood floors installed in another week or two. Trying to decide on stain right now - we love the grain/rays in the quartersawn however prefer to have a more subtle look between the grains (more blended gently). Do we need to stay with lighter colours or can we go to a light/med-brown without getting to much contrast? Thank you.

      The best way to figure that out is on site with samples made my stain/finisher.
