We are doing a white shaker cabinet on the walls of our kitchen and down brown with a glaze island. Does anyone have Giallo Fiesta granite? Do you like it? Any other affordable alternatives?

Other options would be Giallo Napoleon (which I have) and New Venetian Gold.

My cabinets are very dark but I narrowed my choice to Santa Cecilia, New Venetian Gold and Giallo Napoleon. All were the same price and had a similar look.

It looks very similar to giallo ornamental. You might want to look into juparana gold and Santa Cecilia too.

Is it worth the extra money to do Bianco Romano?

From a functional standpoint, it's not even ''worth'' doing granite over laminate. From an aesthetic standpoint, people spend a ridicuous amount every year on beauty, so whether or not it's ''worth'' it to you would depend on your personality, finances, and how trend driven you might be.

Texas_Gem: I have chosen Giallo Napoleon granite and cannot seem to find many pictures of kitchens with it. Can you please post a picture of your granite?

Bianco Romano granite is stain-prone. One of the reasons people enjoy granite counters is that they are low maintenance. Except for a few of them, such as Bianco Romano.
