A terrarium is a great way to start most of them off to begin with until they put some size on and the roots fill the pot. I would suggest it for 'Madame Queen' and 'Midnight Sun' where they should do great until they hit the sides or top at which time you need to make a decision on whether to get a bigger terrarium or keep it at that size. 'Madame Queen' is very fussy (at least in my book) so find a spot where it can settle in and cross your fingers. I can't remember if I've ever had 'Hiro' and if I did it must've not made much an impression on me.

'Esther' and richmondensis will do wonderful outdoors - start in a shady area and acclimate them to more sun as they harden up. 'Bunchii' will do great outdoors too - just be careful on too much water - it will go into fast decline if watered too much. 'Tiny Gem' being so small can get lost among bigger plants so carve out some space for it to get adequate light. 'Thurstonii' has been a achy-breaky plant for me. I bought a huge one many years ago and have a couple of stems left. I think it is one that requires a lot less water than most other begonias. Personally I don't find it a beautiful plant at all but it is one that collectors seem to go for so I've kept it going but have considered tossing it too.

I grow 'Thurstonii' for those fuzzy buds. To me it can be a prett plant.

I saw a huge 'Madame Queen' some years ago and hopefully I can get it to look close. These are starter plants that are really big from Taylor's.

I am going to repot this week. I am thinking of sphagnum moss for 'Midnight Sun' and maybe 'Hiro.. I hope everyone has a good time with their begonias.

Oh, 'Esther Albertine' is an old one and the leaves are so pretty. I forgot 'Mary Ann Flunker' so hope these two bloom this year.
