I covered a bunch of things today. But I can't cover a whole yard. So I just have to hope for the best.

Iris should be fine. They are pretty hardy. Roses should be alright too although they may experience some damage on tender leaves.

Thought it wasn't coming till tomorrow, but temps have dropped here and seeing some flakes within the rain now. Think mine should be good as well - I have irises in bloom or in bud, too. Bleeding Heart and Primrose should be ok, and most everything else is not quite budding yet - glad this weather did come much later! Brought the few potted things I have in for the next couple of nights. Glad I didn't put any seedlings out yet!!

It's not good out there. The weight of the snow will likely smash most of the more dainty perennials I had already growing. I should have done more tenting.

Just looked out...my lilacs are bent over almost to half their height. Must be a very wet, heavy snow. Damage control in the morning.

Looks like we got a couple of inches here in Westminster. And it's still lightly snowing. Crazy Mother's Day!! I'll get out in a bit and shake snow off some of the plants that are weighted down with this wet stuff - before more comes this evening.

I had to rescue my peonies this morning. There was so much heavy and wet snow on top of them. I shook off the snow and will just hope for the best for them. :(
