Wow, you are good. I can't bring myself to do that. I would much prefer to see the flowers now maybe at least one or two to make sure they are the right cultivars.

I've always heard that but I've never done it. Most people that say they do let at least 1 bud make it to flower to confirm the label was correct. You have more discipline than I do! I hope it pays off for you next spring!

Last year I let one bloom open to see it then pruned the rest. What I found was the first year blooms quite often are not true the name of the plant. Second year was. So even if you let it bloom, it may not look like what you ordered or bought.
