We took down an above ground pool and want to make a fire pit area. We liked the look of flagstone till we realized it isn't in the budget currently. I've seen pictures of mulch or small stone. We will have wide steps coming down from the deck. Also need to stain the deck and deciding on the right color. There is a large pile of boulders that I'm guessing prior owner used as fire area. Thinking of having water feature here. We also have a power source connected to a breaker on the old pool post that we can do something with. Ideas needed to add landscaping and inexpensive materials to create space. Working under $2000 budget if possible.
