I finally found a way propogate my rose bush, with a 75% success so far! I've tried all the different ways listed on here, and it never worked in my hot, humid environment. But when I moved this January, one branch of my rose was broken off, and I cut it from node to node, and just stuck it in the dirt. Ive been keeping it moist now that it is warm, and they have been leafing out! I am so excited!
