Stone installation

Was the stone installed and the casework and cabinetry installed afterward, or was the carpentry done and the stone added later?

    Can't be 100% sure, but most installs require the cabinet to go in first (the cabinet contractor accommodating for the approx. 6" of stone that will follow. The stone contractor will then install the stone around the cabinet profile. Thank you.
