I wouldn't cut off any of the green, cut only the brown. Other than perhaps another dose of peroxide, I would keep the crown cavity dry... make sure water isn't puddling up inside there. Has it been warm where you are? You should see growth soon if it's going to make it.

Yes, it has been warm here. I haven't seen new growth yet, I hope that means their going to be okay. I'll keep waiting and hoping. Thanks for your input

how are you watering these palms? Do not let sprinkler water get on the centers of the palms... may be the reason you had some bud rot.

I water with a hose around the palms, but the rain I have less control over. When they call for rain it may be sunny most of the day and not rain till later or the opposite. I would hate to cover them then it doesn't rain and the sun cooks them to death, so I dunno.

rain water is magical and NOT problem for palms normally… it is specifically tap water that is death for them if the crown is watered when it's cold. Have you dug down in the soil to see how wet it is down there? Sometimes water has a hard time reaching the roots when you water with a hose (and there is no bowl around the palm to keep the water from running off). If dry at the level of the lowest roots, I would make a bowl around each little palm and water them better.

I have not dug down deep, so I'm not sure how the roots are in that sense. I'll make a bowl to help them out. All the replies have been helpful thanks again everyone.
