Purple grape iris

I am looking for a particular iris, purple that has the most amazing "grape soda" fragrance. They were beautiful tall bearded iris. If anyone knows of or has an idea where to purchase I would surely appreciate it. My grandfather grew them and I would like to get some bulbs for my mom. Thanks.

iris pallida is well known for having a strong grape scent but many older purple-blue flowering bearded iris will have a similar scent. It is not uncommon with some of the older heirloom varieties :-)

I have this variety, is is named Caprice I think... Iris city gardens carries it. Smells like grape popsicles to me. My kids love it. very reliable and healthy too.
