Put a new carb kit in carb, new fuel filter, new duckbill valve & vent plug in gas cap.3
It will start & run great for a while but then it shuts off. When I try to restart, gas runs out of the carb but when I pull the spark plug, it is dry. When it leaks gas, I can actually see gas siphoning up thru the primer bulb hose

With the Basics (Fire/Fuel/Compression) The Monsters should run but I hear they are exceptions as in the youtube video at the link below. Basically I have gotten most to run or found reasons for them not to run. Personally I have found this harder with “Lower Quality Equipment”. I have put too many hrs on lower quality units as a challenge vs money matters.

Reading your efforts these ideas come to mind:
1. A new carb does not mean it is good or adjusted. Have you inspected the old and new carbs (all ports with wire/compressed carb cleaned, needle and seat adjustments and Hi/Lo needles adjustments?
2. If the compression and fire is good, does it pop or fire for a second from a primed spark plug?
3. Maybe the Tech on the video or others Techs have experienced your challenge and have tips.
