We just had some lamp posts installed along our gravel driveway, and now have a 200ft long dirt "pathway" along the drive. since I don't want weeds to take over and grow there, but also need it to be low maintenance, does anyone have any suggestions?

- 200ft long open dirt stretch

- 2 1/2 ft wide

- fully shaded

the DH and I were thinking mosses and ferns, since that's primarily what the front "yard" is anyway. I just don't want the tall weeds taking over down there!

most all of the green stuff beyond that filled in trench is either moss, forget-me-not, or dandelion weeds. I've just noticed when I disturb the ground, vetch and lapsana tend to grow!
