Im confused . i have a crimson queen red dragon, tamy, and shidire, what is a red select. All the above looks quite diffrent from each other, is the red select more like a crimson queen because it looks the closest to me..ive red that it is a shidire and theres NO WAY..my 2 shidire are a dark purple and red with dark green shade

'Red Select' is thought to be derived from a seedling from 'Inaba Shidare' but they are sometimes marketed and sold as being the same tree - they are not. 'Red Select' does resemble 'Crimson Queen' a bit more closely than other red leaf dissectums. It shares its very pendulous habit and finely cut foliage. The spring coloring is also more like CQ than IS. But 'Red Select' is a distinct cultivar.
