it looks terribly dry and rather than water it once a week, orchids need daily spritzing.. The leaves look like they went through a dry spell and then sudden got overwatered. when that occurs, the parched cells will burst with water and die off. that explains the parts that died off and the parts the remained green. It could also have experienced suns scorching, where sun beams burns off portion of the leaves.

orchids have to be kept in semi-shade condition - after all in the jungles where they come from originally, they are beneath the canopy and wet and cold conditions. (most especially those phaeleonopsis that come from equatorial Philippines). Replicate that and they will thrive. So move it to where sunlight is not so strong. Set it above a tray filled with pebbles and cooling water so as the water evaporates, it keeps the plant cool.

Grow phalaenopsis warm, shady and moist. Not too bright! Only induce some cooler temperatures when the plant is healthy enough to bloom. Phalaenopsis never grow cold at all. Look up the AOS Phalaenopsis Care Sheet. That is a good place to start.

Umm not too cold - cool. But I'm from that part of the world and I know it's strange but it does get quite cool in the jungles at night. The orchids are usually up the trees but below the canopies. In lower areas we grow them under black netting a to filter sunlight. Hot & humid but cooled down by misting water

Cool as in 60 F minimum

Your plant is sun burned. Move it to more shade. I live in South Florida and my Phals only get early morning sun behind other orchids. No need to mist at all. Florida is extremely humid.

Your orchid will get a cool down in winter naturally and bloom. All they require is a 10-15 degree night temp drop which will happen in Nov/Dec.

Just move to a shadier spot.
