Any advice about how to improve the outside of my 1950's home would be much appreciated! We are about to paint the front door and I don't know what color. Specific brands/names of colors would be most helpful.

Also, should I change the color of the shutters, leave them black or remove them altogether?? I asked a handyman about removing them and he said the color of the siding may be different underneath.
