Do you need window treatments for privacy?

This appears to be more of an informal space? Shades are all the rage but not an attractive option to my eye. If go with nothing I would beef up the casings. Otherwise a full set of to the floor panels would be the expected. PLEASE do not take them to the ceiling. That would look ridiculous, unless you never open them. A more formal space I might suggest fill the entire wall with panals. We really need to see the rest of the room to make this at all helpful.

Maybe show the entire room after it is painted and accessorized, as it’s difficult to get a sense of what will suit. Are you leaning towards roman blinds, bamboo or fabric blinds or drapes?

We do not need privacy. I will put up pictures when it is finished. It is an old bread factory with dark wood ceilings. Eclectic and industrial.The owner before us had sheer shades.I have no idea what I should put up there.

Since you describe the space as ”eclectic and industrial” i think, if you want window coverings, only roller, Roman shades or motorized shades appropriate. The style & color depending upon other decor of course. No to drapery panels!

If privacy is not an issue IMO nothing but the stained glass,

I’d install shades close to ceiling to make the window appear larger and frame with draperies.
